Irene Ragusini was born in 1988 near lake Garda, in Italy, and grew up in Athens, Greece.
She is a graduate of both the Bachelor’s and the Master’s in Fine Arts programs of the Athens School of Fine Arts, she has obtained a Master’s in Visual Arts from the LUCA School of Arts, in Belgium and she has also completed a specialized training focusing on Artist’s Books, at Grafikskolan, in Stockholm.
In 2021, her work was selected as the greek representation at Bornholm's Biennial for Contemporary Glass, in Denmark and earlier on, she received a mobility fund by the EU program, i-Portunus, for her project the Archipelago of Shards. In 2022 she was awarded the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Fellowship by ARTWORKS.
She has participated in various shows in Greece and abroad and she has founded KOREN process space, an artist-run space located in Neos Kosmos, Athens.
